Anarlog v1.4.24

Join teams inside Anarlog, manage membership billing, and get more reliable transcription.

Transcription and meetings

  • Recover stalled transcript output while keeping audio capture running, with cleaner handoffs between meetings.
  • Honor cancellation of post-meeting transcription.
  • Keep saved transcripts when post-processing returns incomplete text.
  • Preserve all requested languages during mixed-language transcription instead of returning partial coverage.
  • Re-transcribe stereo recordings even when the available provider only accepts mono audio, and keep both languages when re-transcribing a mixed-language meeting.
  • Pass dictionary hints and speaker diarization through OpenRouter transcription, so custom terms are honored and multi-speaker transcripts no longer collapse into one speaker. Thanks @ekapratama93.
  • Use the actual default microphone on Linux instead of silently recording from ALSA's null device. Thanks @jacopone.
  • Use the host's PipeWire libraries in the Linux AppImage to avoid silent recordings on distributions such as Fedora.
  • Capture remote voices in Microsoft Teams on Windows, including after the audio output device changes.
  • Hide brief prompts after a meeting ends.
  • Use Bluetooth microphones on macOS reliably by switching to the HFP/SCO profile when the mic opens.
  • Remember names for live one-on-one remote participants across restarts.
  • Apply a speaker name across a meeting without changing unrelated speakers, and preserve assignments through transcript refinement.
  • Connect Nari Labs for live transcription with your own API key.
  • Open informational notifications without starting a recording or changing your current note.
  • Keep notes and ignored-event choices attached to recurring Apple Calendar meetings when an occurrence is rescheduled, without creating duplicates. Thanks @Diaspar4u.

Accounts and teams

  • Choose monthly or yearly billing for your Pro plan in your account.
  • Connect additional sign-in methods from Connected accounts without merging separate accounts.
  • Refresh Pro access automatically when workspace membership changes.
  • Accept or decline team invitations in Settings → Teams, even when the invitation email is missing. Get an invitation notification when the app is in the background.
  • Add Team members without purchasing seats first. Billing adjusts when members join or leave, with prorated changes applied to the next scheduled invoice.
  • Use Cloud API and Cloud MCP with the Pro access included in your paid Team membership.
  • Let team owners automatically admit coworkers with a verified work email domain while respecting previous removals.
  • Let every Team member see the member roster while keeping management controls with owners. See member profiles and roles in a table, and require the recipient to accept an ownership transfer.
  • Confirm who will lose access before removing a Team member or canceling an invitation.
  • Choose Start fresh on this device when the notes on a device belong to another Anarlog account. The existing database is kept as a timestamped backup and the signed-in account takes over; nothing from the old notes is uploaded.
  • Switch accounts on a device that never synced without reinstalling.
  • Connect Meta Muse for transcription and intelligence in Settings → AI. Thanks @realtonypark.

Meeting controls

  • Keep typing inside a newly created task instead of jumping to the following paragraph.
  • Keep your own contact pinned first, with editing and deletion disabled to protect your identity.
  • Fix a macOS crash when updating menu bar controls.
  • Find the folder picker beside the note header actions.
  • Keep Automations navigation visible when starting or switching chats.
  • Use more compact email and Slack sharing menus.
  • Confirm destructive actions with a click instead of press-and-hold.
  • Remove the scrollbar from the meeting details popover and simplify typography across the app.
  • Choose where desktop exports are saved in Settings → General.
  • Edit transcript text directly, save with Command/Ctrl+S, and copy or reassign a speaker from a selection.
  • Recognize speakers more accurately from microphone routes, active calls, participants, and one-on-one titles, with consistent colors for each person.
  • See the current link access from the Share button, then copy the link or send it through email or Slack from one split action.
