Anarlog Desktop v1.4.25

Dictate into other apps, edit transcripts more easily, and recover interrupted recordings and sync.

Dictation and AI

  • Dictate into text fields in other apps with Anarlog Pro. Choose a shortcut, hold it while speaking or use hands-free mode, and see a live preview when your provider supports it.
  • Connect Wispr Flow for transcription and dictation with your own API key, or Venice for summaries and chat.
  • Ask for paragraphs, bullets, or a mixture in custom summary formats. Crisp, Balanced, and Detailed now control detail without overriding your requested structure.
  • See Anarlog attribution on OpenRouter requests. Thanks @ekapratama93.

Transcripts and recordings

  • Edit transcripts as soon as recording stops. Reassign a speaker at the cursor with Enter, split selected text into its own speaker block, and delete selected blocks together.
  • Merge adjacent blocks assigned to the same speaker, keep the speaker picker inside the window, and return to reading with Escape.
  • Recover missing transcript sections after a connection interruption using temporary audio, with clearer status when recovery or audio cleanup cannot finish.
  • Resume recording after interrupted audio-file setup and refresh cloud transcription credentials when reconnecting long recordings.
  • Keep floating controls in place when expanding or resizing them, and see when transcription is reconnecting.
  • Play saved recordings and audio attachments on Linux. Thanks @jacopone.

Notes and organization

  • Ask Chat to create folders and organize meetings into them. See conversation dates and message times in Chat.
  • Choose which sections a Markdown automation exports, customize filenames with the meeting date and title, and include a meeting ID to distinguish similar names.
  • Choose 12-hour or 24-hour meeting times in Appearance settings.
  • See activity, insights, and badges together under Settings → Insights. Account details and billing now have separate settings pages.
  • Save edits to your account profile and use a profile photo across your account and shared views.
  • Give a workspace multiple owners while keeping one protected Primary owner. Primary ownership transfers still require acceptance.

Calendar, imports, and sync

  • Load all pages of Google Calendar results and show events without titles. Thanks @igasmi.
  • See connection changes, import progress, and the latest import result immediately, including when no new meetings were found.
  • Keep local notes and recordings when switching accounts. Choose whether to connect the library to the new account; doing so requires a compatible app version on this device afterward.
  • Recover sync uploads containing large transactions and avoid recovery loops caused by colliding rows or older transcript records. Some cloud recovery cases remain under investigation; this release does not establish that every affected account has recovered.
