Anarlog Desktop v1.4.28

Recover interrupted transcripts, connect more transcription providers, and keep speaker names in exported notes.

Recording and transcripts

  • Keep recording and saving live transcripts while an unresponsive window reloads. You can still stop recording from the floating bar.
  • Recover transcripts and speaker names after a window reload or app restart. Summaries wait for transcript repair, and an existing summary is regenerated when repair adds missing words.
  • Avoid duplicate recordings of the same meeting across connected devices.
  • Automatically record calendar meetings only when you accepted the invitation or organized the meeting. Skip meetings where every other attendee declined.
  • Starting a recording no longer pauses music or other media.
  • Transcribe retained audio with ElevenLabs Scribe V2 after recording stops. The audio stays until that transcription finishes.
  • Keep numbers as numerals in on-device Parakeet transcripts on Apple Silicon.
  • Show participant names on live transcripts from a personal microphone, instead of numbered speakers, including when Soniox reconnects.
  • Preserve transcript speaker names when you merge or delete a contact.
  • Use live transcription with Inworld, Gradium, Modulate, Alebex, or your own NVIDIA Speech NIM server. Amazon Bedrock batch transcription is available through an OpenAI-compatible gateway.
  • Connect a Nari Labs API key again. Saved beta model selections move to the current models. Thanks @realtonypark.
  • Connect ChatGPT on Windows when the previous connection failed because the stored credential was too large.

Sync, sharing, and export

  • Recover cloud sync when a retry includes new edits after an earlier upload succeeded without confirmation reaching the app. Keep local edits working after interrupted sync cleanup.
  • Connect a new Pro device to cloud sync automatically while another device signed in to the same account is open. A device where you paused sync stays paused.
  • Pin a team workspace under your contact in the sidebar. It stays pinned while you belong to that workspace.
  • Co-edit a shared note with other people who can edit it. Their changes appear as they type.
  • Manage sharing for notes you created, even when your workspace role does not let you manage other people's notes.
  • Save a finished summary to a Google Drive folder from an automation, including as a Google Doc. Generating the summary again updates that file.
  • Find local meetings within a chosen folder in chat, the CLI, and local MCP tools.
  • Keep speaker labels in Markdown transcripts exported by automations, the CLI, MCP, and the Cloud API when speaker information is available.
  • Export a PDF with the session title, page numbers, and a cleaner cover instead of the old generic branding.
  • Get more slots in Sync settings opens your account page when you need another sync device.
  • Check recent uploads, downloads, and errors in the Sync settings log. Synced mobile devices show a phone icon.

Desktop

  • The floating recording bar no longer crashes session start on Linux/X11.
  • Use Cmd+K to jump to pages and settings as well as notes.
  • Play long recordings with less memory use and faster waveform loading. The playback-speed menu stays visible instead of being clipped.
  • Reduce background loading when opening long transcripts, while keeping full-transcript copying available.
  • Restore missing titles on notes created from calendar meetings.
  • Keep chat reasoning available across turns when using a ChatGPT subscription.
  • Keep the sidebar and macOS window controls on screen when you zoom in or out.
