Anarlog Desktop v1.4.29

Choose your Cloud Intelligence model, organize recurring meetings into folders, and keep summaries and shared-note indicators consistent across devices.

Sync update required

  • Update Anarlog on every synced device. Once a workspace switches to the new sync protocol, desktop 1.4.28 and earlier can no longer sync that workspace until updated. Local notes remain available.

Summaries and transcription

  • Choose Claude Sonnet, Claude Opus, GPT Sol, Gemini Pro, or Gemini Flash for Pro Cloud Intelligence, or keep Auto for managed routing.
  • Remove the fixed output-length limit for generated summaries. Crisp, Balanced, and Detailed still guide how much detail the model writes.
  • When you configure additional spoken languages, write summaries in the language used most in the transcript. Generated titles follow the summary's language. If detection is unavailable, use your main language.
  • Select an on-device transcription model automatically when its download finishes. See download progress in Settings and a completion notification. Choosing another provider or model while it downloads keeps your newer choice.
  • Recognize your microphone voice on calls even when brief background voices appear, and recognize meetings joined through Aside.
  • Identify chat requests made with your own OpenRouter key as Anarlog in OpenRouter's dashboard. Thanks @ekapratama93.
  • Transcribe with batch-only providers once after recording stops instead of repeatedly during the meeting.
  • Keep AssemblyAI speaker labels on single-channel recordings, and group Parakeet Batch text by channel and audio chunk when precise word timing is unavailable.
  • Keep one default summary when the same note is created or summarized on multiple devices, and show an existing summary instead of an empty placeholder.

Notes and calendar

  • Pin a note window above other apps with Always on Top in the note's overflow menu.
  • Refresh a calendar note's meeting details and timeline position when its event changes.
  • File a calendar meeting's note into a folder directly from its event. For recurring meetings, choose Auto-add to put future meeting notes in that folder, then change or stop the rule from the same menu.
  • Hide calendar invitations you have not accepted, including tentative and declined events, from the sidebar timeline.
  • Join and record from a calendar reminder, or choose Open meeting to join without starting a recording. Reminders without a meeting link offer Start recording. Thanks @swapnilraj.
  • Optionally save screens others share in meetings to the note's Memos. Enable Capture shared screens in Memos in Settings; macOS requires Screen Recording permission. This feature is a prototype.
  • Recognize X Calls and Kontur Talk meeting links in calendar events.
  • Fix an editor crash when you type a bullet after an existing list.
  • Keep notification actions visible together. Clicking a notification's body expands or collapses its details, and recording-device questions stay visible until you answer Yes or No.
  • Keep a closed saved-audio recovery notification hidden when you reopen its note or restart Anarlog.
  • Recover sync after an upload retry includes newer edits, and keep local changes tracked after interrupted sync cleanup.
  • Preserve offline note edits when receiving newer cloud state, and keep copied-link indicators visible across devices.
  • Keep PDF headings clear of the preceding text and preserve Unicode text when converting notes to Markdown.

Chat

  • Open Ask anything without hovering over your note. Keep your chat draft when closing and reopening the floating panel, and keep note typing visible behind it.
  • Find note actions in groups for editing, organization, and sharing, with a more compact share panel.

Pro

  • When the referral offer is available, invite friends from Settings with an active personal Pro trial or subscription and track your invitations. When a friend joins through your link and starts a trial, get one free month added to your trial or paid subscription, for up to three friends. Each friend gets 30 days of Pro free.
  • Pro includes collaboration, shared workspaces, roles, and centralized billing at $14 per person monthly or $140 yearly. Existing paid Team workspaces keep their access.
  • New Pro trials last two weeks. Trials already in progress keep their original end date.
  • Pro includes five synced devices, with purchased extra slots added to that allowance. Existing connected devices and purchases are preserved.
  • Stop showing personal trial prompts when your workspace membership already provides access.

macOS

  • Keep your chosen app icon after closing Anarlog. Quit closes the main window while Anarlog stays running; system shutdown can still exit the app.
